Orientation Training

This course is structured in accordance with AS 3745-2010/Amendment 2-2018 Planning for Emergencies in Facilities and AS 4083-2010 Planning for Emergencies – Health Care Facilities. Provisions in relation to Work Health & Safety Regulations 2012 Chapter 3, General Risk & Workplace Management –  Part 2 General Workplace Management, Divisions 1 and 4 will apply.

This course consists of theory based classroom style information session. The session will contain the following information:-

    • Emergency Response Procedures
    • Occupant Responsibilities
    • Types of Emergencies
    • How to report emergencies & activate alarms
    • Recognising & reporting unsafe conditions
    • Roles, responsibilities & identification of ECO members
    • Reacting safely to emergencies & alarms
    • Evacuation Procedures
    • Location of assembly area/s
    • Location of egress routes
    • Procedures for specific emergencies
